I love $.33 yarn!

Wooties! I scored big time. Went to Michaels to get yarn to make Heather's baby girl a blanket, but realized only some of the yarn was 50% off. Namely the hideous "pooch" yarn. WTF? It is so ugly and useless. Anywho.....I almost left but decided to swing by their measly clearance section. Lo and behold, they had a rack of Sugar N' Creme on sale for $.50. In pink, brown and a pink/brown/white varigated. SWEET! I am doing a purse in cotton. This will be gorgeous.  I took all on the shelf and went to pay. It rang up $.33 a ball! YES! 

So, then I went to AC Moore. All their yarn was 40% off so I got some uber soft (IMO) Caron Simply Soft in white and some really pretty lavender/white mixed for the border. I talked to Heather yesterday and she mentioned they are painting the baby's room in purple and lavender. Going to use a pretty sideways shell for the afghan. Pictures will come soon.

Pretty little felted thing.....

I made this last night. Had been trying to find a way to use up this Landscape yarn. Finally found a pattern that used EXACTLY 4 skeins of it! LOL! Anywho....80gb iPod shown for size...
